Director/Instructor: Nameer Kirma T'ai Chi Ch'uan Practice: Since 1994 Assistant Instructor/Instructor: Since 1997 Opened Good Spirit T'ai Chi Ch'uan: 2005 Beginning my Tai Chi Chuan training in 1994, the distinction between Yin and Yang was blurry. Although my vision of this relationship has improved through the lens of T'ai Chi, I am still seeking and learning. I have been teaching for the last thirteen years, and through teaching I'm reminded that I'm a student of the art. I have had the fortune of training over the years with Herb Goldberg, founder of T'ai Chi Ch'uan Atlanta, a highly regarded School of Yang Style. I have also studied with grandmasters and masters from China like Liang Shou Yu and Yang Jwing-Ming. In addition to ongoing classes at the Jewish community Center in San Antonio, I have also given classes at the University of Texas Health Science Center. I have also given several demonstrations at the San Antonio Cody and Brook Hollow public libraries, public schools and at: [ Downtown YMCA (San Antonio, TX) [ Botanical Gardens (Atlanta, GA) [ Super Show (Atlanta, GA) [ World Tai Chi Day (San Antonio, TX) [ American Cancer Society Relay for Life (San Antonio, TX) [ Salud America Summit (San Antonio, TX) |
It is my curiosity that brought me to investigate the world of T'ai Chi Ch'uan, but
it is the master instruction of Herb that opened for me the true meaning
of being a student of T'ai Chi Ch'uan. With him as my guide, my journey through
the mysteries of T'ai Chi Ch'uan has been enlightening and full of wonder and
humor. To my teacher and dear friend Herb I dedicate this web site.
